Being a money hungry guy. You can’t view Mario leaving UM for Alabama for 500k increase and compare it to what is going on now. Back then a 500K increase meant Alabama was raising his salary by 100%. On top of that it meant working for the top college coach in history.
To say Oregon can do the same now it would mean Oregon offering Mario 16-18 million a year. That’s not happening. He loves Miami. He won’t take Oregon’s offering at 20-30% increase.
