He needs to get the right hires . He can’t just fire these guys next year and throw away millions again. He’s looking at the big picture years down the road and has to make the right decision, even if loses a couple of guys. It’s obvious now a few guys he wanted decided not to come delaying the whole process.
I think Mario is not worried about losing a few recruits this cycle
