Based off his rookie year he def has the look of a #1 overall pick. Both Jacory and Stephen looked great as young guns. Remember Jacory against FSU when he hit Benjamin on that deep pass where Benjamin got a foot in before going out of bounds. How about the game against Oklahoma. Stephen had his moments too and then he really blew up around here when he was the MVP of the manning camp. Both these players showed promise as young guys but then they became known as pickory & drive killa.
Another young guy that looked like a #1 overall pick as a freshman is Christian hackenberg. He then struggled as a sophomore because his oline graduated some players and was not good at all at protecting him because of youth & inexperience. He also lost a few of his key weapons like Allen Robinson who got drafted by the jags. He is still a top prospect but is no longer #1 on a lot of draft boards.
I hope kaaya has a great year but I just don't want to see us trashing him like Jacory & Stephen if he doesn't.
