Everyone bashes Golden for having a crappy record despite all the draft able talent he had. If that is the criteria to judge, Larranaga should be criticized to. There is a great deal of talent on this team, but they lack both the killer instinct, but also the ability to close tight games. That was what plagued our football team.
This basketball team had UVA on the ropes, NF during the regular reason and the same last night. This is a that took the fight to Louosville, and beat Duke and Syracuse (aside it's still Cuse) away. They clearly have the talent. What the lack is the quotes I noted above, and to me those are crafted and honed by coaches, which Coach L could not do.
I refuse to believe this team is just average.
