They WILL create a pathway for 2-3 weeks into airport for American citizens to pass thru. This includes Afghans with visas and US passports. Failure to cooperate with an orderly evacuation and HELL will rain down on Kabul. Of course he won't do this because of a lack of balls.

So you know more than the Generals too ? Good to know!

That is the type of thing a true leader would do. But if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. Biden is probably involved in higher level with the Taliban, like offering US tax payer financed art for their palace remodeling from Hunter.

Seeing his interview with Stephie from last night was like watching a 3rd grader tell his parents it was not his fault that he did not do his homework. Absolutely an embarassment to the Office of the President of the USA.

Your right and general mattis layed down his 5 stars and resigned.
because he wasn’t worried about keeping his job more than following his beliefs.
Unlike these morons in charge now
Watching Austin and Milley at that press conference was a disgrace. They new what Biden decided was the wrong tactics yet because their job was more important to them than national security they went along to get along .
you could tell they didn’t want to be at that press conference and they now know they are done.
shameful...

Biden lied again during interview with George Stephanopoulos. You believed him.

Presidents generally don't read cables, as they are mundane State Department reports drafted by diplomats that have to go through many people before they are considered for inclusion in the daily brief. Second, the report cites the fall of Kabul well after it actually happened, so the story is sketchy at best and misses the nuance of how Presidents receive information and whether the information is always accurate in the first place.

So what did Biden base his emphatic statement that the Afghanistan Army 300k strong would hold the Taliban off, if not his people on the ground ? It’s a July memo Kabul just fell last week.

Biden should not have made that statement, but I understand why he did since him saying Afghanistan would fall very soon "way back" in July would've simply made what happened last week happen back then, since the Afghan Army would've abandoned their jobs back in July and the Taliban would've taken over earlier. There is no winning in this situation.

Do you think maybe they should of had a plan like they said they did ? Something very complex like get American contractors, State Dept , civilians out. Afghans that served with us ( Biden was against this with Vietnamese).Secure the Embassy. Remove military hardware and blowup or make inoperable what you can’t take then last remove armed forces. This is how bad these idiots are. Now make some more excuses for them

I think the entire thing could've been handled better, but there still would've been major problems in getting out, the Taliban coming back, and the ensuing humanitarian crisis of people desperately wanting to leave at the airport. That was going to happen no matter what Biden did. The only way to completely avoid this would've been to stay in Afghanistan, which after 20 years, wasn't going to happen.

How about leave Bagram Air Base open? You think that might have helped?

Bagram is a massive base and simply securing it would've required a lot of troops, at a time when we were drawing down. So while some are saying we should've kept Bagram open longer, it would've involved keeping a lot of troops in country and you still would've had the same logistical problem of people getting there since the Taliban would've controlled the road connecting Kabul and Bagram.

Joey's own military advisors told him to leave 5,000 troops on the ground until after American assets were out of Afghanistan. For some reason, Joey thought he knew better than them.

It's all over the news, where have you been? It's the same military advisors that also told him not to close Bagram until after all American assets were out. Shouldn't be too hard for you to find this.

I'm watching the news and don't see it. I thought you may have a link or something.

Everyone here knows I'm too much of a technological dinosaur to use links. They also know that I don't come on here purposely telling lies. The info is out there, if you choose not to believe it then that is your right.
