I am as middle as they come regarding politics and don't believe in this garbage two party system that is killing our country/society and turning people into mindless sheep, but let's not forget the time wasted on Obama's birth certificate concern. This is similarly bad, but if it were to be true, worse.

I do agree that we should be focused on topics mentioned by the OP and not Russians and birth certificates, but this is what happens in a partisan two party system going "tit-for-tat."

I posted this to show another example of how the Democrats are becoming “The Boy who Cried Wolf Party.” McClaskill made a clear implication that Sessions talked to Russia about the campaign because she said when she was in the Senate Armed Services Committee she never needed to talk to Russia. Also, don’t get me started on how many Dems are saying how disgusting it was for Trump to use the Navy Seal’s wife as a prop as if she has no mind of her own. Van Jones commented on how he enjoyed the President’s speech and now Dems are going after him with bile.

All these politicians are hypocrites on both sides but this stuff is becoming hypocritical at epic proportions now. To the point people are telling me with a straight face there is nothing wrong with misleading congress or lying under oath with these people. If these were democrats they would all be going ape sh't!

It has turned into a situation of well, you still haven't proven anything so it is a witch hunt. However, the birther movement was completely understandable so let's elect this guy president.

I have no idea why these people on this team coincidentally have Russian ties and continually lie about any associations. There is something wrong with that for a couple of reasons. Either there is nothing to see here and you are just liars who are holding cabinet level positions in our government....or you are hiding some type of quid pro quo agreement with Russia. Either of which I am completely uncomfortable with.

Show the perjury statement! Where did he lie or mislead the congress?? Again show it or shut the F up! All these political assholes meet people from other countries all the time! To say there is no contact with other countries is naive or in your case hypocracy! Again show the evidence or shut the F up!!

If you want to pretend him acting like he had no discussions with Russian representatives only to find out he did then fine. Clearly he withheld important information and played dumb as he is.

Just don't expect smart people to act like there is nothing to see here. It is a common theme with this administration. Dealings with Russia and either lying, preventing media access to media outlets that ask tough questions about it, or asking agencies like the FBI to retract statements to mislead people into thinking there is nothing there.

Not involved with the Navy seal debate nor the Van Jones discussion. Instead, let's focus on our point of interest. Whether she forgot or lied about her meeting with the Russian she was never a member of Trump's campaign therefore not being investigated for possible collusion with our adversary.

Thats just it, I am not jumping the gun and assuming that Sessions was in cahoots with the Russians to elect Trump. I listened to Franken's question and leading up to it Franken was talking about the campaign so it is plausible that Sessions understood the question to be about campaigning. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the real issue whether or not the Trump campaign knew about the hacks because we know for a fact that some of our past Presidents have supported and given money to certain political parties in other other countries during those countries election cycles.

Sessions very well could have not understood Franken's question. However, with all the discussion after the hearing about "Russian meetings" he could have corrected his statement but didn't. Why?

Thanks for the detail....but I guess I missed where you were explaining to me why its illegal for someone in the Trump campaign to meet with another country''s representative during an election? Our past Presidents have tried to influence elections in other countries.
