Ahmere Foster established himself on the field during the 2021 season as a rising prospect. The Columbus safety got after it against the run and playing deep as that last line of defense for the Explorers. With the hard work and effort have come three offers and rising interest.
Foster reports offers have been dropped from Ole Miss, Coastal Carolina and Florida Atlantic with interest coming in from Miami, Rutgers Indiana, Marshall, FAU and Oregon. Miami hosted him during the Manny Diaz era and now under Mario Cristobal in January.
“That was great,” Foster said. “They had a Prospect Day; I got to chop it up with coach Cristobal. It was a great-fun day.”
Foster gave detail on the visit, “I had been to Miami before, but it was great seeing everything again. Coach Cristobal said they were upgrading the facilities; the new stuff will be great.”
The Hurricanes will be seeing Foster again soon and he may branch out to other D-I programs.
“I will probably see Miami again, show some love to coach Cristobal and the coaches again, Ole Miss and Rutgers,” Foster said.
