2019 Handcuffed Dan Enos by wanting Jarren Williams at QB instead of N"Kosi. JW did not have a strong arm and look how Maryland's offense is prospering with Enos as their OC. Yes , we did have an inexp OL but 2021 OL isnt much better.
2020 We saw N'Kosi's true potential in the bowl game vs Okla St. He moved the offense. He completed a difficult throw to Cam Harris on the sideline; D'Eriq King cant make that throw. Perry also has a stronger arm than King. He doesnt have to fully extend his throwing arm on short passes.
2021 Perry seems to be doing well at FAU. Meanwhile, we are stagnating. After the loss to UVA one post game article said Manny & Lashlee corroborated on the decision to go for the FG. Im feeling that Manny took the playbook out of the hands of Lashlee by deciding to waste 3 downs and put Borregales in a bad situation. Manny thought he was sharp as a tack by having the ball in the center of the field. The Cavs defense were playing on their heels. By wasting downs is a sign mediocrity is accepted.
