It’s a sellers (coaches) market what did you expect to happen

This is just the culmination of the last 3-4 years. Smaller (g5 teams, ) have gotten enough money and stability to keep some of the up and comers in place. Fickell and Campbell, PJ Fleck and others aren’t looking to make the next jump

The top end coaches for the most part(Dabo, Saban) are stabile and not going anywhere…

So there aren’t a lot of proven guys looking to move… if 15million is a real number that is 2.5times the going rate 3-4 years ago for “THE TOP GUY”

now you have about 10 teams fighting for 4-5 coaches and another 5-10 schools going way over budget just to keep what they have…

the market is insane, but it’s not gonna get any better, better to suck down a 8-9m vs what that same number buys you in 2-3 years

5years ago Miami gave mark $4million a year.
today, I’m not sure who you could get for $4mil a year,.
