ITT we give libs a chance to list Obama’s accomplishments in 8 years.

His only signature legislation has been just about overturned, at least the mandate is gone, which is about everything. He couldn't even do CROOKED thongs correctly, as this latest news to come out about his failed efforts to let Iran convert currency. Banks said "no".

HBO has this documentary called "The Final Year" where they follow Obama and his clan around the world during Obama's last year. Every time Obama passed an executive decision or made a deal, Obama and his clan would pat themselves on the back. How great would it be if HBO had a sequel showing Obama and his clan's reaction every time Trump took a dump on one of his legacies?...lol. The only thing in the sequel they would be passing is gas.

I’ll take a minute tomorrow to either debunk or confirm your claims. Should be fun.

We are reaping the benefits of his Presidency right now!!!

Most appreciated by his voter base was pardoning some 1900 convicted felons .. mostly drug dealers. What a guy.
POS President now is pardoning racist Sheriffs and politicians. That is Most Appreciated by his voter base.

Ok so a quick hitter on each to stir conversation.

You claimed followed by my comment:

1 – Rescued the country from the Great Recession, cutting the unemployment rate from 10% to 4.7% over six years

My comment: Barack took over with the unemployment rate at 7.8. By October of his first year it rose to 10 where it peaked. It started the slow decent reaching the 7s for the final time in February 2013 where it sat at 7.7. So 50 months after taking office he managed to get back to the highest point it had been sense June 1992. In fact, outside of W’s last 2 months in office, we hadn’t seen unemployment in the 7s since 1993. Yikes! We finally got back to the 5s in September 2014 at 5.9. We then hit 4.9 in Oct 2016 and he finished at 4.8. So the numbers are in fact true, but I wouldn’t necessarily list unemployment as one of his accomplishments.

2 – Signed the Affordable Care Act which provided health insurance to over 20 million uninsured Americans

Comment: I think most agree it was a disaster overall and will likely be Replaced with something better going forward.

3 – Ended the war in Iraq

Comment: It did indeed end on his watch and ending a war is an accomplishment.

4 – Ordered for the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden

Comment: Lol

5 – Passed the $787 billion America Recovery and Reinvestment Act to spur economic growth during the Great Recession

Comment: If spending our money is an accomplishment, then he is twice as accomplished as all his predecessors combined.

6 – Supported the LGBT community’s fight for marriage equality

Comment: he definitely supported that community

7 – Commuted the sentences of nearly 1200 drug offenders to reverse “unjust and outdated prison sentences”

Comment: Accomplishment? Nah

8 – Saved the U.S. auto industry

Comment: See comment to 5

9 – Helped put the U.S. ontrack for energy independence by 2020

Comment: How?

10 – Began the drawdown of troops in Afghanistan

Comment: Didn’t he promise to end our presence there?

11 – Signed the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals allowing as many as 5 million people living in the U.S. illegally to avoid deportation and receive work permits

Comment: 5 million? That said he did sign it and with any luck President Trump will solve the problem while in office.

12 –Signed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to re-regulate the financial sector

Comment: you have a common theme going on here. Is it an accomplishment to sign a bill?

13 – Dropped the veteran homeless rate by 50 percent

Comment: Now this is an accomplishment he can be proud of.

14 – Reversed Bush-era torture policies

Comment: The things we think we know.

I’ll do your second half later.

Ok, second half.

15 – Began the process of normalizing relations with Cuba

Comment: I hear President Trump is rolling them back. I wonder why?

16 – Increased Department of Veteran Affairs funding

Comment: Yep, when it came to spending he was very accomplished.

17 – Signed the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure Act

Comment: I’m glad congress found a way to send him things to sign otherwise he may have no accomplishments.

18 – Boosted fuel efficiency standards for cars

Comment: President Trump revising same.

19 – Improved school nutrition with the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act

Comment: I hear the food is really tasty too.

20 – Repealed the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy

Comment: no doubt.

21 – Signed the Hate Crimes Prevention Act, making it a federal crime to assault anyone based on sexual or gender identification

Comment: signing bills and spending money are really not his accomplishments.

22 – Helped negotiate the landmark Iran Nuclear Deal

Comments: Terrible deal which of course we exited from.

23 – He signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to combat pay discrimination against women

Comments: lol, I’m starting to wonder if the OP was right.

24 – Nominated Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, making her the first Hispanic ever to serve as a justice

Comment: good choice for the left.

25 – Supported veterans through a $78 billion tuition assistance GI bill

Comment: more spending but the vets deserve it.

26 – Won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”

Comment: this is an accomplishment

27 – Launched My Brother’s Keeper, a White House initiative designed to help young minorities achieve their full potential

Comment: that might be the only thing he ever did for the minority communities so I’ll give him credit for that.

28 – Expanded embryonic stem cell research leading to groundbreaking work in areas including spinal injury treatment and cancer[/QUOTE]

Comment: ok

So, what else you have?

Good critiques. But I will say that if signing bills isn’t considered an accomplishment, we’re 18 months in and Trump hasn’t accomplished a whole lot. I personally don’t see anything wrong with spending. It’s what got us out of the Recession by stimulating the economy. Also, I personally believe that there is a lack of social solidarity these days in that in order for the general well being of America to increase (SS, Medicare, infrastructure, etc) we have to spend money and pay more taxes.

AHCA was a good idea that wasn’t executed well due to partisanship. If both sides work together on that issue, AHCA could be an overwhelming success. I know that LGBT relations isn’t important to a lot of people on this board, but it’s still an important milestone that we’re treating LGBT people with the same basic respect as straight people. DACA is a good idea. Pardoning drug offenders is a good idea due to the fact that a lot of the charges were petty in nature due to marijuana, which end up preventing them from getting hired after rehabilitation. To say he did nothing is ignorant, and to say he fixed everything post Recession is over zealous.

Na... OBAMA was the real POS.

Blacks only voted for him because he's black and liberals voted for him because a limp wristed bitch who bent over forward to take it up the ass from China, Russia, Iran, Mexico, and ISIS through appeasement, while shitting on law enforcement, the Constitution (lost a record 40+ times before the SCOTUS), middle class America, and the Flag.

That socialist bitch, radical Islamic sympathizing and closet racist Obama should be in Guantanamo Bay taking it up the ass from his beefy troll husband Michael and his 7 inch dong.

I’m not saying he did nothing but there’s got to be more then just signing bills and spending money. That is of course unless he came up with it. Like Obamacare, if that worked out he could of/should of gotten the credit for it as he came up with it. Much like the President Trumps tax cuts, he made it happen. Ending the war, absolutely he owned it and should get credit. Capturing & killing bin laden, is just silly.

Let me give you something as a comparison. Let’s take unemployment as the example. While it is true he was in a recession, suggesting he accomplished something after one of the worst sustained periods of unemployment in our history is simply ignoring the overall facts. By contrast, I would say President Trump has accomplished something in that category as he has lowered the unemployment rates across the board bringing both the minority’s and female unemployment rates to all time lows.

Anyway, I think you get it. I’m not really digging him just don’t really see what real accomplishments he had.

28 Of Barack Obama’s Greatest Achievements As President Of The United States

1 – Rescued the country from the Great Recession, cutting the unemployment rate from 10% to 4.7% over six years. With mimimum wage, part-time jobs. Like the plane pulling away from the gate just to say they were "on time" and waiting on the tarmac for 4 hours.

2 – Signed the Affordable Care Act which provided health insurance to over 20 million uninsured Americans. Which Trump ran against and won. Mandate cancelled. ACA has been neutered. American ppl have spoken.

3 – Ended the war in Iraq. You mean ran with his tail between his legs when the Iranians laughed at "the line in the sand".

4 – Ordered for the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. Wrong. Ordered him captured. Thanks to the soldier who claims that Bin Laden "reached for a shiny object". {wink wink}

5 – Passed the $787 billion America Recovery and Reinvestment Act to spur economic growth during the Great Recession. Basically, digging holes in the ground only to create "jobs" for people to fill them in again.

6 – Supported the LGBT community’s fight for marriage equality. This hurts your case.

7 – Commuted the sentences of nearly 1200 drug offenders to reverse “unjust and outdated prison sentences” This hurts your case.

8 – Saved the U.S. auto industry. That's why Trump ran with the promise of revitalizing manufacturing and won Ohio and Michigan which hasn't been won by a Repub in decades???

9 – Helped put the U.S. ontrack for energy independence by 2020. Lol. Like his stupid pipedream of a windmill in every front yard will ever happen. Solyndra???

10 – Began the drawdown of troops in Afghanistan. Ran away with his tail between his legs. Let's see if Trump does that.

11 – Signed the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals allowing as many as 5 million people living in the U.S. illegally to avoid deportation and receive work permits. This hurts your case.

12 –Signed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to re-regulate the financial sector. Yup. Anything to restrict capitalism.

13 – Dropped the veteran homeless rate by 50 percent. Colluded with local governments in CA and NY to "mis-count" the number on the low side. U.S. Census doesn't count homeless. Those numbers are reported by local governments.

14 – Reversed Bush-era torture policies. This hurts your case.

15 – Began the process of normalizing relations with Cuba. And kissed Castro's ass in the process. His term ran out before he could do the same with Venezuela.

16 – Increased Department of Veteran Affairs funding. That's why Trump ran and won on ridding the VA of the massive drug problem. Thanks Obummer.

17 – Signed the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure Act. I guess that's why I had 4 credit card frauds during Obummer's last 2 years.

18 – Boosted fuel efficiency standards for cars. Beacuse we are destroying the ozone, right? Did China follow suit? They contribute 1000X the amount of pollution. This hurts your case.

19 – Improved school nutrition with the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act. More government telling us what we can eat. The little kids should do what they did to that clown Bloomberg in NYC. He restricted soft drinks to 32 ounces. So ppl just bought THREE 16-ounce drinks! I would send the kids to school with their OWN lunch. 2 cheeseburgers, 2 large fries, and a Starbucks mocha Frap.

20 – Repealed the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. This hurts your case...and our country's combat morale.

21 – Signed the Hate Crimes Prevention Act, making it a federal crime to assault anyone based on sexual or gender identification. You have zero sense of humor. Sometimes it's fun to watch a video of a tranny such as Bruce Jenner getting assaulted in a parking lot.

22 – Helped negotiate the landmark Iran Nuclear Deal. Oh shit. This is too easy. T-ball right here. Skip.

23 – He signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to combat pay discrimination against women. Women can do anything men can do. Just not as good. Danica Patrick retired after decades with only one win to her name. She beat a bunch of Japs in a race in japn about 12 years ago.

24 – Nominated Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, making her the first Hispanic ever to serve as a justice. This hurts your case. Nominate the best legal mind. Why the limus test? Common sense.

25 – Supported veterans through a $78 billion tuition assistance GI bill. But the VA turned into a drug cesspool under Obummer. So we're going to educate veterans so they can get jobs at the VA and be much smarter about covering up the drug dealing? Again, anything to do with veterans is a YUGE reason why Trump won. Why?

26 – Won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”. Lol. That's like being surprised when the Vatican doesn't choose a Jewish Pope. The Nobel committee is slanted so severely toward liberal thought that it would be a black mark for any Republican to be awarded that prize. Same as when Trump told TIME to take a walk when they wanted to interview him for Person of the Year.

27 – Launched My Brother’s Keeper, a White House initiative designed to help young minorities achieve their full potential. It's working really well in his hometown of Chicago. They reached their full potential in use of lead.

28 – Expanded embryonic stem cell research leading to groundbreaking work in areas including spinal injury treatment and cancer
Than why is Buoniconti still in a chair? Because the money is being funneled to the Democratic National Committee.

She beat a bunch of Japs in a race in japan about 12 years ago.

Then why is Buoniconti still in a chair? Because the money is being funneled to the Democratic National Committee.

  1. 28 Of Barack Obama’s Greatest Achievements As President Of The United States

    4 – Ordered for the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. Wrong. Ordered him captured. Thanks to the soldier who claims that Bin Laden "reached for a shiny object". {wink wink}

Solyndra???

Honey thank you for doing this, I just did not have the time or the energy to deal with these socialist no nothing traitors after he copied that off of a liberal talking points website. Some of the stuff listed is laughable and moronic. I wish the hell that the Cems and CD's of the world would move the hell out of the country.
