Live Game Thread: Miami Basketball Vs. Syracuse

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Norchad Omier of the University of Miami men’s basketball team will miss today’s game against Syracuse due to a lower extremity injury.


Omier is day-to-day and expected to return to action in the coming weeks.


A fourth-year junior from Bluefields, Nicaragua, Omier has started all 17 games for the Hurricanes this season and leads the team in scoring (17.2) and rebounding (9.6).
 
Nwoko starting early with two baskets. The freshman will likely get the most minutes of his career today.
