Look all things considered, I'm still bullish on Manny and 2019 in general.

As you guys know I'm a doomer a lot of the time.

My expectations of this team were low. I did not think we would beat UF and although I picked us to beat UNC, I said it would be 3 point swing either team could win.

But I'm still encouraged. My whole thing this season was how does this team get better week in and week out as the season progresses. How are they correcting mistakes and moving forward. Are they making forward progress each game? That's the sign of an elite staff IMO.

And I was very encouraged by what I saw on Offense the other night. We need to get better in the red zone and generating explosive plays, but it was very effective and clearly better than at UF. The Defense and ST might be a bit harder to fix. There are some clear recruiting deficiencies there and I honestly don't think we have the right coaches deployed there.

The whole key for Manny though to keep me bullish is will he make adjustments when his plan fails? Because it's coming. It's almost certain, being a first time coach and all. Will he adopt some pointless bunker mentality like Golden or CMR. Or will he stand up and make the changes that need to be made, even if it means firing "his guys".
