Because HE RECRUITED HALF THE TEAM!!!.... he was DC he didn’t come from another school you know richt wasn’t telling him he couldn’t have the recruits he wanted it was manny go get them
If he didn’t like who his staff was recruiting get rid of them but MANNY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HALF THE TALENT OR LACK OF TALENT PERIOD
