CMR comes in after the disaster Golden final year in early 16. Too late to build any relationships and just real late in the game. Those kids are our current Juniors. Remember we were still in sanctions and Redshirting virtually no one. Then we have the 17, 18, 19 class. The 19 class all but dissolved after 7-5 season and lethargic Head Coach. The 17 class still sanctions (correct me if wrong) and not all of these classes were 50/50 Offense to Defense. So the statement that Manny recruited half these kids is nonsense. One other point; We don't know how CMR made recruiting decisions and whether he shot down kids that Manny may have wanted. Not a defense of what we are seeing just an observation based on people believing that he recruited half the team.
