The time to find out is now…I understand that Mario will likely not speak with any "official" UM representative during the season, but surely we have contacted him through the back channels and spoken to his agent about whether he has any possible interest. Hopefully, we have even questioned as to what it would take to get him to come home. Before Manny is fired, we need to have a definitive plan in place and hopefully can lock down Mario before Manny's firing is "official"... This waiting game is not good and hopefully, it does not cost us. Anybody on this board friends with Mario? If so, I know you cannot divulge anything much, but what is your gut telling you? Gary, thoughts??
