I’ve finally come to that realization. I’m still in the unlikely camp though
But I have been convinced that it’s a real possibility , probably a little less than 50/50
He is , for good reason , the sole target of the search currently. That’s where all the energy is being focused.
Gary has been consistent and explicit. In order to upgrade the coaching and become a National power , the recruiting needs to become elite
Only certain coaches have the ability to recruit , hire and coach at the next level - the championship level
Because of the increasing cost of play, the choice needs to be a virtual certainty
Gary is being realistic on these other so called choices .Just listing them on CaneSport.com does not make them real candidates
Like Kiffin - he’s just laughing with that smirk on his face as his price skyrockets upwards with the latest coach signing
Lastly the notion that any coach can come in and win with this talented group , which has been expressed, recognizes that the roster is pretty good . It’s a roster assembled by none other than Manny. He gets no credit for that it seems
