"For me personally I knew in my gut and my spirit I knew that I was in a place where I felt like Miami was going to be better off with somebody besides me. That's hard too say to yourself. But that's where I was I quite frankly ground myself into the ground to a certain degree when it came to emotional and physical stuff. I mean I enjoyed every bit if the grind but I didn't take care of myself real good. After 15 years in the SEC with Georgia I probably needed a break then and I didn't take it. .Within 48 hours I am the head coach at Miami and we are grinding away, having a ball, but I just got empty. I got empty physically, spiritually and emotionally and I really was concerned about my health to be quite honest with you. Probably like Andrew Luck, that hit home big time. I probably should have been braver to come out and say certain things that he did."
