Generally, I think we have been overly conservative in our defensive approach during coach Golden's tenure, but we have not been conservative when it has come to blitzing. The following are the blitzing statistics for the last 7 years against division one teams only:

The problem is not that we don't blitz enough, its that we aren't very effective blitzing. Owens and Grace showed some promise last season so hopefully we will get better results in 2015.
