My biggest criteria is someone who will win South Florida back for recruiting.
2. Lane (assuming he is a "changed man" from his childish behavior earlier in his career). He would win the city back. Not as much as Mario would but enough to get us back.
3.Mel Tucker (has moved up my list, has the blueprint from Saban, and is a good recruiter)
4.Mike Leach (the guy can coach offense and does more with less. He isn't known for recruiting but I would have to think that he is smart enough to surround himself with recruiting beasts.
5. Tie: Billy Napier- does more with less and has Saban experience/ Greg Schiano /- lots of experience and would run a good program, but is he Mark Richt all over again? Mark stoops- does more with less but can he recruit well enough? Seems like we can do better
Outside pipe dreams:
Urban Meyer- if he says he is a changed man and had a mental condition that made him quit early but now he is better lol
Butch Davis - if we can't find anyone else lmao
Charlie Strong- I am not high on him but he would probably bring back Clint Hurtt and he would assemble a good recruiting staff.
Bob stoops: big game Bob is better than our current big game slob
