I just received this email. I don't think they are looking for a 50-year old has been! If anyone know anyone, the contact information is included below.

Dear University of Miami Athletic Alumni,

On behalf of University of Miami Athletics, we are writing to let you know about an opportunity that has been presented to the Athletic Department from Miami Jai Alai. They are looking for ex-UM male athletes who would be interested in competing in a new sport- Jai Alai. We are writing all our male athletic alumni of record, believing that if this is not an appropriate opportunity for you age-wise or interest-wise, perhaps you know of a Former Hurricane who might be interested and you would forward it on the chance we do not have their contact information.

Miami Jai-Alai is looking for athletes to learn a new sport and compete amongst each other at Magic City Casino, located here in Miami. We have attached a fact sheet that they have sent over explaining all of the details, but it is a great opportunity for employment for an entire year, and only competing for 5 months. You will be trained fully for 6 months and provided all of the equipment necessary to play and train. The opportunity also comes with full healthcare benefits.

If you have any questions or are interested in learning more about this, please contact:

Daniel Licciardi at 305-649-3000 / dlicciardi@magiccitycasiono.com

Thank you, and as always,

GO CANES!
