1. Complete clock mismanagement AGAIN. We trailed most of the game. Yet we continued to snap the ball with less than 5 seconds on the play clock. Contrast that with Nebraska when we continually snapped the ball with 17 seconds on the play clock up by 23. It's like we're trying to lose.

2. Every time we had 1st and 10 inside the 15 yard line, Coley passed on first down putting us behind the chains. He has done this all season, so Cinci knew to expect pass. Then he runs on second down leading to third and six or more. DESPITE the fact that we killed Cinci with the outside run, he ran inside every time.

3. Coley was late getting play calls in from the sideline all night. Kaaya got every call with 18 seconds or less on the play clock (usually less than 15). By the time the offense set and Kaaya called the protection, less than 5 seconds remained on the play clock. This lead to numerous mistakes, disorganization, and bad plays.

4. Shotgun on third a a foot! Are you KIDDING ME! We plowed over Cinci earlier on a QB sneak in the same situation. You run the QB sneak EVERY time in that situation. It's the high percentage play. That call was the same as a turnover. It gave the ball back to Cinci.

5. We had 3 and 3 in the third quarter. Because Coley was late with the play, the play clock ran down. At two seconds, and our offense clearly disorganized, we run the play anyway instead of taking the time out. Penalty called, ball moved back five yards. Now, 3 and 8 instead of third and three. Incomplete pass and we punt. ANOTHER TURNOVER.

6. Failure to kick the field goal with four minutes left. We had fourth and five. If we kick the field goal, its a one possession game and we simply need to convert a two point conversion from the three yard line to tie. Plus, you're still in the game. Instead, we take the more difficult choice of going for it from the five. GAME OVER.

7. Failure to put any pressure on the Cinci QB in the first half. As the announcer said, He "could have baked a pie." In the second half we blitz and attacked more. What the EFF were we doing in the first half?

8. Failure to rely on the run game. We owned Cinci on outside runs. Yet the coaches chose to pass on first down 7 times in a row at one point. We ended up behind the chains repeatedly. THAT IS WHY WE FAIL ON THIRD DOWN. Because we end up with third down and eight or more way too often.

We have the players. We can filed a top 25 offense and defense right now with the players we already have. But with Golden and his staff, we are spotting the other team 21 points on game day coaching alone.
