All my doubts about Manny are coming to fruition. That’s why I hated this hire but thought I’d give him s chance. Dude is all bark no bite. #TNM & Portal Magic... man give me a break. Blake should have done a REAL search and hired a Proven Coach that has done MORE with LESS. And no I’m not talking about Mario because he was not my 1st or 2nd choice but I would have chose him over Manny
U can almost always tell if a coach is going to be successful by the staff he hires and puts together. Like look at Ryan Day at Ohio st. He hired mike yurcich away from okla st who was a top up and coming OC and he hired Greg mattison as DC who ran some tough defenses in the big 10. Both experienced running top units
Manny hiring Dan Enos pretty much told me that Manny was not ready. I told u guys it was a bad hire and I was vilified on here. I’m I can not win consistently at big boy football with this antiquated offense. Dabo found out that’s why he almost got fired. He fired Napier and hired chad Morris saving his job and jump starting the Clemson dynasty. James Franklin found out too running the multiple pro style at penn st to the tune of 2 7-6 season almost getting fired until he hired Joe Moorehead , the HC now at miss st, where he went 11-2 in yr 1 of Joe being there. Look at Gene chizik st Alabama. With gus and can national title. Gus leaves and he goes more pro style multiple a gets fired 2 yrs later. Mike locksley destroying teams at Maryland with explosive offense like he was last yr at Alabama. Guess it’s not the talent.
Now we are back to being a bad team. U know how you are a bad poorly coached team? Every week u blame a loss on another units failures or the same. It’s always so units fault, never the coaches lol
