Let’s say Manny makes around 3.5-4 mill a year. He’s in year 3 so he’s already been paid about 11 mill and will prob be bought out for another 5-6 million with 2 years on contract. (Usually don’t get 100% on buyouts). Add the 4 million paid to Temple. Also fired Butch, WR coach (name??? ) and Enos. That’s about 23 million dollars and this program has actually gone backwards and it hasn’t even been three years.
Think about that for a second. Blake James dumped approximately 23 million dollars in 2.75 years and this program is worse off than when we fired AG.
Didn’t interview Mario. His buyout at that time was about 8 million. Think about where we would be if Mario was our coach right now.
And I’m not even talking about $$$ wasted in buyouts with AG and Randy.
It blows my mind that these so called successful people have had such poor return on investment with UM.
You would think the light bulb would go off and finally invest some $$$$ for a really good head coach. Blake James might of done a good raising money but look how much he’s wasted.
