Biden administration wants the IRS to monitor ALL transactions $600 and up from every bank account in America. The AUDACITY is that they claim this is to catch the RICH not paying taxes.

Think about that in America. The government IRS SPYING on our bank accounts.

I buy tickets from you and you make $100 they will know.

America is going straight in the toilet and some of you vote for these Democrats. It's insanity.

I think I read that this administration was adding 30,000 IRS employees. That is a lot of Gestapo. How do you think the Democratic agenda is going to pay for the Trillions being spent foolishly? The IRS will know every penny in and out of your account. Just make a mistake on your return and the Penalties will likely be astronomical. They will get their pound of flesh from the taxpayer.

This Democratic Communist Party action is being pushed by those politicians that are pandering to the old and new indigent vote that the Democrats need to retain a voting majority. These people they are pandering to are your minimum wage 40 hr. employee that wants these free bees and will vote Democrat to retain these benefits. The Democrats are using the IRS Gestapo methods as their muscle to enforce their future harrassment of the hard working middle class and successful upper class owners and employers that are the backbone of Capitalism to pay for these free bees.
If this hiring of 30,000 or worse 80,000 IRS are allowed to happen, you will hear stories of harrassment and abuse of the working person. Guaranteed! Get rid of the IRS, incorporate a flat tax or something similar and use a different agency to enforce collections of those that have criminal intentions. Everyone pays their fair share that way.

The government can obtain any bank account history it wants right now. Every bank is regulated by either a state or federal agency. The megabanks have regulators on-site on a daily basis and they have the power to review any transaction they see fit. This has been the case for over a century. Finally why would any of you law and order patriots be opposed to the IRS ensuring everyone is paying taxes on taxable income?

It is new. The IRS threshold for knowing a transaction amount is down to $600. Isn't it $10,000 currently?

$10,000 triggers a currency transaction report. My point was bank regulators can look at any account or any transaction for any amount. This is not new.

As things stand today, most taxpayers don’t have an obligation to report how much money they have in their bank accounts, how much they deposited, or how much they withdrew. Self-employed taxpayers who - like all Americans - self-report their income and deductions to the IRS are on the honor system.
