Apparently, 24 year old Kyle Mullen, who was in the midst of hell week for the Seals in San Diego has passed away in a Coronado hospital. This one hits home for me......Wishing his family the best........investigation ongoing, but this breaks my heart. I know there are a few others on this board that have served, thus, I thought I would share..........God's speed and treat every day with appreciation, love, and respect for others.

Read an article yesterday mentioning that one had died and one was hospitalized in serious condition. Very sorry to hear .. those are tremendous young men putting it all on the line to become part of elite units to protect this country. Shame that accidents like that happen. Pacific Ocean is cold .. my guess is hypothermia. Awful.

Still get chills thinking about all the times in that frigid water …. Can’t explain what your body feels like after being submerged in that water , but it sucked … mind over matter though

Recall prior to the Army Navy game there was a moment of silence for a Naval Academy grad .. played DB on the football team .. that had just been killed in a Seal training accident. Dangerous stuff .. they train like they deploy.

Correct on both counts … will say that seal training pushed me to my limits .. saw many guys quit…. Mind over matter , had to be in that zone .. could not do it again , I think

Not related ... but literally just finished reading Dick Marcinko's autobiography. Polarizing career in the USN.
