This is the universities attempt at looking professional. It's bad ethics and optics to publicly endorse your new coach who happens to still be under contract with his current team. There is absolutely no reason to fire Manny right now. By waiting for his buyout to go down you save money for new staff. You save face by looking fair to your coach. Manny is dead he just ain't fell yet. Daddy can't help him(he's damn sure trying tho) and it's telling when you can't stand on your results and need daddies help by the way.
