All this radio silence is driving everyone crazy, me included. Its tough. But it just doesnt make sense to be dragging the process along if it doesnt end with Mario coming after the Pac-12 title game. Im not claiming to be an insider or to have any sources, but gut feeling is I think there has been informal talks with Mario and we are getting his input on the AD hire as well, we are going all in on football so we want to have input from the guy who will ultimately run the program. The AD hire will be announced sometime either Thursday or Friday, with an announcement sometime this weekend (Mario being announced on Dec 4th would be a great birthday present to me). It just doesnt make sense to drag this process along with any other result. I hope they dont break my heart.
