This guy was one of the best comics ever. I loved him on SNL(when SNL was watchable). The story goes he was fired because the then NBC President of the West Coast Division, Don Ohlmeyer, was a good friend of OJ Simpson and didn't like Macdonald's relentless attack on OJ during Norm's SNL Weekend Update segment. He was relentless:
