Schedule strength is represented by each team's average per possession offensive opponent adjustment (OOA)
Miami 2018 -.02
Miami 2019 .01 - Tougher schedule this season than last.

Touchdown rate (OTD) is the percentage of offensive drives that result in a touchdown.
2018 .237
2019 .254 So far a slight improvement in scoreboard stats, despite the kicking woes.

First Down rate (OFD) is the percentage of offensive drives that result in a touchdown or at least one first down.
2018 .640
2019 .731 A different and I would argue better stats than 3rd down %.

Available Yards percentage (OAY) is the total yards earned by the offense divided by the total yards available to be earned based on starting field position.
2018 .395
2019 .478 Nearly a ten point improvement in the most complete statistical look at offensive performance.

Explosive Drive rate (OED) is the percentage of offensive drives that average at least ten yards per play.
2018 .144
2019 .104 Down 40 points as a main result of....

Busted Drive rate (OBD) is the percentage of offensive drives that earn zero or negative yards.
2018 .129
2019 .179 Best stat for offensive line play and maybe play calling depending on how you look at it.

The 2018 offense struggled to maintain possession but made more explosive plays, while the 2019 team so far has moved the ball well despite missing the explosive plays and allowing more busted ones.
I interpret this comparison as an overall improvement in the offense but the improvement has been mitigated by the o-line. If Enos and Barry can eliminate some of the busted plays the offense will perform that much better.
