The main reason is corruption. Ammunition, Food, basic supplies were stolen and sold on black market eventually ending up in Taliban hands. The officers had ghost soldiers they were collecting pay for and the soldiers resented the gap between themselves and officers. U.S. didn’t even tell them and pulled out leaving under cover of night. Taliban were smart and controlled border crossings which chocked large cities supplies. Now you tell me why the President you support told the world that the 300k army ( He lied about the size ) would defeat the Taliban and you won’t see any Saigon happening here.
The Afghan was built and equipped to beat off any invasion by the Taliban regardless of the exact number of troops. With all of this malfeasance within the Afghan military no one saw this during the past 20 years? It only manifested itself during the past 2 weeks? GTFOOH!!! You are only giving more excuses for why those cowards ran and refused to defend their own country. Biden understood this mess would never improve and did the right thing to pull our soldiers out. No more American lives for people who don’t have the courage to fight for their freedom.

You should check it out mike, especially if you have children and school age family members. It's a social theory that's being passed as if it was proven fact. Imho I find it divisive, absent of any truth as to how this country has "melted" together along it history, and robes us of ALL the inter-racial/ inter-sexual advances we, as an evolving society, have made.
