During the Trump presidency, corruption flourished at such a remarkable rate that it's almost impossible to keep it all straight. Google "Trumps level of corruption" and start reading. It will take awhile!

That being said, I'd consider myself naive to think that Trump is above reproach, simply with what he dealt with in his developmental deals in corrupt big cities. I have spent 6-7 months there for the past 10+ years. The Afghan army was never going to be able to control the country. The Taliban have always been in control of most of the country. The administration botched a pullout that should have never happened. Having bases there is extremely strategic in the future focus of Iran, Russia, and China.
In typical US nation building failures, we support the sheep of a country. The Middle East is completely different than the west. The ones willing to be violent and rule with an iron fist will rule. We should have been negotiating with the Taliban to negotiate how we would stay. We share enemies with them, they hate Iran and ISIS (who is there in force). But, we would be turning our backs on the government we failed to make capable of controlling the country.
If anyone has specific questions, I’ll answer what I can. But, mainly, Biden’s administration did the withdrawal backwards and rushed. And, the Taliban would always rule Afghanistan.
I do know why and already told you...I included Obama. I'm not like you. I don't suck off any of these people. When they do something great beyond the normal job responsibilities I say so ..and don't make excuses for them when they don't.
