Both schools have to RECRUIT like SEC schools. Said that FSU recruited like that under Jimbo but it got stale toward the end. Stated that Clemson got to that level of recruiting like a SEC school.
said Miami has to as well and they don’t know if Miami can under Manny because he never has been known as a recruiter going back to his Miss st and Texas days. Said that even though both teams are in the ACC they have to be able to recruit like SEC schools because it’s just different down in the south East. They don’t know what coach FSU could get to do that. Don’t think Leach is the answer. Said James Franklin would be ideal at FSU and possibly a dark horse is PJ Fleck. Stated Miami has not recruited that way since probably Butch. Look to be going that way under Richt. Mention Mario has the guy who could have recruited at a SEC level at Miami but Miami Brass chose to go with Manny who they said jury is still out but again they question the ability to recruit at the level needed by him and his staff.
