TVD was 3rd on depth chart IMO after Spring game. Even though he played well, to me Garcia had more upside. Of course that was a Spring game? Fast forward to where we are at today. King goes down. Garcia goes down .In steps TVD who basically is looking like an All American the last 4 games. The kid got his opportunity in live Combat and he was ready and has shined? People are talking about the departure of Mark Pope? I hate to see Pope go, but ultimately he has been out performed by younger ,hungrier guys. He had his opportunity many times. Time and time again he didn't live up to the hype? I'm not a fan of Diaz because he hasn't proven to me that he can build a winning program. He hasn't done it in the past, and hasn't done it here? IF he somehow keeps his job this year, hopefully he self evaluates and realizes he needs a DC, and few other things to make this program better. I don't believe he lasts if Mario is ready, willing, and we are able to afford him, but if Diaz does get one more year? He needs to win next year or he is selling used cars in Hialeah wondering what could have been......
