Actually have been enjoying more of Anderson Cooper's 2 hour program on CNN every night. I find Cooper fair and balanced. At least he has Trump supporters like Jeff Lorde and Corey to balance out the anti-Trump people. And Cooper himself is reasonably fair. And enjoy
him on 60 minutes on Sunday too.

Trump only won there by 2 points. Unless Ossof wins tonight every analyst including Nate Silver expects him to lose in a one on one race. Interesting how activists poured in around 8.5 million dollars, with 19 out of every 20 dollars coming from out of state and they may still not flip the seat. We'll see what happens.

Don't know what can happen between now and the 20th of June but the implications are pretty clear. This is a district that has been so far out of reach for 34 years. It is in play and it is about as red as a district as you can get. That's the main point....as time goes on these districts are all in play where they haven't been in decades.

Yep...just aren't getting it...which is okay with me. I know because I live here. This is not a competitive district. Dems are raising record numbers in dollars and this state is going blue probably by the next election cycle. Real talk. Politics is this way. The opposition party always has the advantages which is what is wrong with politics. When you go to the governing party you are at a real disadvantage to maintain....and these guys are not reaching out to get bi partisan support.

Yeah, I lived and worked in Johns Creek in the sixth district. It is about as conservative as they come here. Old money. But these are not the coal miner types that voted for Trump. These are the very educated, successful, professional white demographic. Mostly people like business owners. Very button down group that has a lot of things like noise ordnances in place that are ridiculous. They shut down bars in the area.
I don't care how much money they poured into this district. A 30 year old democrat newcomer has absolutely no business getting over 48% in the sixth district. That pretty much is the writing on the wall....and they may keep it in june...but the midterms will be brutal for republicans.
And yet after this nice heart warming story what was the end result?? Couldn't get to 50%!! It's funny the Dems had the White House handesnto them in '16 and F'd that up! Looks to me the Dems own the west coast and north east coastal states and are moving south to Dixie. You do remember Obama won North Carolina in 2008 and narrowly lost in 2012. Couple that with 2 Florida wins by Obama and you have a coastal sweep. Deal with it. It's happening.
