Judge John Hurley!!! Fellow St. Thomas School of Law alum and someone who I had the pleasure of meeting while interning at the State Attorney's Office here in Broward County. GREAT Judge and an equally great person...

As far as Blondie's goes, that place is "Jersey Shore meets South Beach" crowd... Used to go there back in college and a few times when I moved up to Fort Lauderdale after law school. I quickly realized the typical crowds that hang out there and decided to pass on it... lol... It is next to the famous Elbow Room on the corner of A1A and Las Olas Blvd... Lots of white trash go there on the weekend... It's just not that impressive of a place, truth be told... Places like Tarpon Bend, Dubliner, Rock Burger, The Downtowner, The Royal Pig, American Social, or The Riverside Hotel in the Downtown area are MUCH better places to frequent for the average person with better crowds, drink, and food options...

Been there once for an hour and 2 fights broke out over 1 girl guy breaking vodka bottles on some dudes head... the bouncers there are untrained thugs themselves and it appeared to me they needed more of the exmilitary type bouncer than the thugs they have... but like I said I left after fight number 2... definately a place to avoid unless you are looking for trouble

Where's Antonio Morrison when you need him? I agree, the place is a total hole but its our hole. I mean what better place to stumble off the beach walk 10 steps for a couple of shots of patron at 4pm then black out at 1am.. Sometimes waking up in the kitchen with no pants on .. I've only heard stories.! Blondies as I will always call it has a cast of characters like nothing I have seen before. Bikers, hitman, hookers, and whores lil live music and you have a party. Just becareful, the further you go inside the deeper you get.... You won't be home till 7am. I've heard stories..

gotta disagree with most of you guys man. blondies isn't blue martini or vibe or nothing like that its a bar where you can chill ten feet from beach and relax beautiful sun and half naked women on the beach. all places have their group of idiots who cant handle their liquor so to say its trash is a bit much cause every place had its fair of idiots. I go to blondies probably once a week on the weekends and know both the bouncers chill and talk to them on regular basis good dudes are they scholars no, are they scum hell no there normal guys who deal with a lot of drunken idiots. I've seen first hand they go above and beyond to avoid shit getting physical sometimes idiots don't listen and deserve to get some sense knocked into them I was there that day at elbow and the idiots came back tried to fight and hit a cop so clearly speaks for who the idiots are in this story

My brother use to bartend downtown Fort Laud for years back in the day at the Edge, Chilli Pepper, Sutra, ect.. I've gone to Blonde's countless times with him as he's friends with all the security. He would even tell me himself this isn't the place to Fuk with the Security. There were also very cool with us and very friendly. Most likely because they knew my brother from his bartending days ect... but the place has that REP of not messing with these guys and I see why. Some guys learn the hard way unfortunately.

I sent him the article yesterday and the 1st thing he said was I told you don't fuk with the Crew at that place. They will put you on your azz. Total Sweethearts if you know them though.
