Did any of you see Brian Cushing of the Texans on this week's episode of Hard Knocks? My impressions.
* tough and determined run stopper and relentless pass rusher. In great condition after two very serious knee injuries.
* has many characteristics of the locker room bully. His treatmemt of the young RB Blue who was trying to pass protect was disgraceful. Trying to humiliate your teammate is never a good thing for team unity.
* Canes and everybody else tried to recruit him out of NJ. He landed at USC and was part of the much heralded LB crew of Cushing, Rey Maluaga and Clay Mathews. Quite a group.
* was suspected of using PEDs in high school and again later in his career. He looks and acts like a user. Maybe a "roid rage" kind of guy. Even his wife looked jacked.
* I respect this player but don't like him one bit. In contrast to the abilities and charms of JJ Watt and Vince Wilfork, Cushing looks like a jerk.
