The Dept. of Homeland Security found that the number of immigrants that overstayed their visas was more than double those apprehended at the Border during the same time frame. Actually she is demanding money from the US or she will allow them through. If the US simply enforced its southern border, aka a wall, there would be none of these issues. Democrats want the illegal immigrants, just not as many and not as messy as it is. Central American banana republics want US dollars. As often stated Joe Biden is wrong on every foreign policy matter on his entire time in the Swamp.

A Wall would be ineffective. The U.S. government has installed new surveillance technologies including underground motion sensors and radar equipped watchtowers.

A wall in certain areas could only help and would reduce the amount of area that our border patrol officers have to cover. It certainly beats what we are doing now that allows up to 200,000 illegals to cross over each month.

A complex network of cameras and sensors in the ground, on towers, on the back of mobile trucks and airborne have helped reduce the numbers but I agree that we need to use every tool available including walls if they have proven effective. The most effective deterrent would be to fine employers who hire illegals. Those laws have been in effect for years but never enforced. Cheap labor is too addictive. So while the Government goes through the motions, Corporate America will never allow true enforcement!
