If you can find it, Cavali Vodka is very similar, maybe even a little better than Elite.
Yeah. Our problem (you and me) is that Russian vodka happens to be very good. Like 2001 Canes.
Good to know. i’ve seen it before and know of it but never tried it. Thanks for the recommendation. Thing about vodka that makes it a unique spirit is that unlike brown spirits and gin, you really just want vodka to taste like a thick mineraly water like deal. I mean you really want it to be as pure and smooth as can be with the alc not compromised. It shouldn’t taste like rubbing alc nor should it make you regret drinking it the next morning. nothing better than good sushi grade salmon sashimi with a top shelf vodka that’s been sitting in a freezer with a whiskey ball in a frosted rocks glass. Lol, it’s seriously awesome.
Just saw it avertised at Total Wine at a much lower price than I have ever seen. To the point I will withold my recommendation to make sure they did not lower standards. Best yet at a price in the $20's per 750 ml, it is worth a try. They are also advertising a "Cavali premium" at $70 per bottle which makes me question if there have been some changes on the standard name. Another one, if you can find it is Brilliant, a Scottish made Vodka.
