Demetrius Jackson said today he's keeping pen pals with elementary school students, including one at the community outreach today (at Carver Elementary in the Grove).
"It's always fun to see some of my pen pals," Jackson said. "Julius (gesturing to a nearby student) has been my pen pal since he was in the third grade. And he's going to middle school now."
