I agree with you completely re Coley's skills at evaluating and recruiting QB talent. I liked Jedd Fisch as a teacher, QB coach and OC. But, no doubt, he could not recruit.
You focus your praise on the recruitment of Kaaya, Allison and Lyttle. Understood. But, you're downplaying a bit the the recruitment of Rosier and Sheriffs. Rosier is a capable backup and change of pace Qb this year. Next year, my bet is that Sheriffs will be a 6'5, 215 lb. backup with full and complete knowledge of the playbook. Allison will redshirt.
After Kaaya? Would not shock me if Sheriffs beats out Allison. Whatever the outcome, it underlines Coley's strength as an evaluator and recruiter. We are gonna be deep at the QB position.
