Gary has said that Manny will be given another year and should make some changes to his staff. I know that he has also said that every coach is coaching at the level of their resume. He also said that no big time position coaches wanted to come work for Manny because they felt that they were better etc.
My question is this...who is going to come to Miami under this dark cloud surrounding the program? Pretty much everyone in AMERICA is expecting a 4-8 season at this point. You have got to expect position coaches and coordinators to look at Diaz like a dead man walking for next year.
What will giving Manny another year do other than delay the inevitable?
We will limp into the off season picking up the scraps on signing day and then hoping for that home run hire.
Just don’t see it happening.
