Surprised no one has brought up his interview. Unless I missed the thread.
I came away very pleased with what I read and heard from him. The little we have seen him play was quite impressive, and he was never really able to hit his stride. Hopefully he comes in and makes a huge impact. Obviously, its safe to stay skeptical because we haven't seen him play in so long and really hasn't had much time to prove anything but it sure seems like he's taking his role seriously, knows this is his shot to get to the league, and is really putting in the time to work on his understanding of the game. Hopefully it all comes together for him and pays off in big plays and success for the team.
On that note, more than ever we'll need these under the radar guys who aren't quite "Stars" to really step up this year. Not in the sense that they need to become stars, but as a team this team needs to have the mentality Scott has right now because everyone from the players to the coaches have a huge mountain to climb this year, the burner is on High and it needs to come out just right.
Good for Scott, do big things!
