....into a program that meant so much to this city and still means so much to the former players who put the phrase "The U" on the map which has been used over and over again to promote the university as a whole more for academics than athletics.....then why should we care? I cant do it anymore and will not renew season tickets after having them for decades. I have no delusions of grandeur in that we should be the 80's and 90's Canes. But with our access to talent we should be able to put out a decent product. I used to start threads towards the end of last season to boycott season tickets to send a message. But now realize it wouldnt matter if there were only 15 to 20,000 fans that show up or if there were 45 to 50,000 fans that show up. It obviously falls on deaf ears. It took an epic, embarrassing beat down by Clemson to force us to spend a little more money, but the reality is the upper brass doesnt care.....therefore, neither will I.
