their affiliations. For example, John Harper of CNBC is the station's Washington reporter. I know that he is a flaming liberal and favors Clinton; yet, he never discloses this when he constantly favors her in all of his reports. The same lack of disclosure exists in sports. In ESPN, for example, the Canes get slammed and when one does a little investigation, one finds the writer favors other programs and have never liked the Canes. I have never seen the degree of manipulation in the media (TV, Radio, Newsprint, etc.) that is going on now. It seems like we are in Russia or some other state controlled media. The way to solve this problem in our country is simple; require those in position in the media to influence opinion, including editorials, to disclose their backgrounds. Most of us here can tell the difference; unfortunately, the majority of people just take what they read or hear as the truth.

You honestly want reporters and sports commentators to disclose political affiliations? Dude, I don't think you want that. I'm just being honest. Sports and politics shouldn't mix in this manner. It shouldn't be relevant if a sports commentator or reporter is a republican or democrat.
