A shout out to Ryan White. This young lady from Herriman, Utah, the town just southwest of us, is the first swimmer born in Utah to make the Olympic team. Tonight she took 4th place in her event, the 100m backstroke. What a great job in her first Olympics and expect to see more from her in the future.

Another 4th place for Rhyan in the 200m backstroke. She had the bronze with about 10 feet to go but lost that by .22 seconds. While that was her last time in the pool at these Olympics, she still comes home with a Silver medal from the 4x100m relay team by virtue of her being part of the preliminary team that got them in the finals.
