“I hope we play better because we’ve been practicing better, I can tell you that,” Richt said. “If that gets going it helps everything else go.”
Gauthier and Donaldson alone will improve the OL. McDermott has lost the big belly he was carrying last year and looks much quicker.
Darling has finally mastered the nuisances of playing OG. And St. Louis is one of the most improved players on the team.
What the OL lacks is depth. The only subs Searels feels comfortable in playing are Gaynor and Mahoney. Hopefully a couple more guys will emerge after a few games.
But this OL should open more holes for Walton and Homer. And it should give Rosier more time to throw the ball.
