Kirk Douglas, an icon of American film has died at the age of 103. He lived a true rags to riches story and was probably best known for his role in Spartacus.I had the pleasure of meeting him at a book signing he did out here in Utah about 15 or 20 years ago. Was amazed by how short he was. RIP Mr. Douglas.

He played the role of Doc Holliday in "Gunfight at OK Corral" with another legend, Burt Lancaster.
Douglas was in the same Category as John Wayne, Lancaster, Gregory Peck, Richard Widmark, Robert Mitchum, Jack Palance, etc., he outlived them all. He is the last of the Hollywood legends. Thoughts & Prayers to the Douglas Family.

Yep I remember that movie too. Impressive to live to that age after such a hard upbringing.

Starred in the greatest anti war movie ever made-"Paths of Glory", directed by Stanley Kubrick.
