Your Miami Hurricanes were much better at the plate tonight pounding out 14 hits...9 more that Friday night...we scored 10 runs in the 2nd inning to put the game away. Three HRs didn't hurt...
Again, pitching showed up as we used 5 different guys on the mound and held App State to just 1 run.

Good evening, Caniacs...
Tonight is Game 2 of our 3-game series vs App State at The Light. We are 25-15 and need to keep adding to the win total if we hope to get
a post-season bid. Our overall wins vs losses are not very good considering who we've beaten, and more importantly, who we've lost to.
Fortunately, our RPI and SOS are both below 30 so those are big plusses.
As for last night's 4-2 win in Game 1, this was Coach G's take post-game:
“I’m pleased we got the win, but know that we still trying to get this where we can play better baseball all the way around and we need to.”
Since it appears our weekend rotation is a work in progress, I'm not sure who starts for us tonight. I erred in last night's opposing starter as
i just looked at the info on the UM and noticed the 3 App Starters have an orange "C" on their blue caps. Not only are those not App State's
colors of black and gold but the "C" stood for Clemson. Whoever updates the UM app forgot to do their job.
