She has more years of experience as a trial court judge than any Supreme Court justice! In fact, she would bring more years of experience as a judge than four of the sitting justices combined!

That's fantastic but the Senators are allowed and supposed to ask about her judicial rulings. Some of which raised eyebrows. Perhaps you agree that child pornography cases warrant low prison sentences but I guarantee you most citizens would disagree with that. Is she qualified? Yes. Does that mean she will be good on the Supreme Court? Look at Sotomayer a complete moron.

The whole notion that she is some sort of historical pick worthy of Booker’s slobber, is absurd. What about Thomas ? Does he cheer Thomas ? Did he forget that a true American hero is the longest serving member of the Court

She is NOT a Constitutional Scholar but rather an ACTIVIST who rules in power.......

The Scotus is about CONSTITUTIONAL LAW......

She will never tell her true feelings judicially because it is somewhere btn Sotomeyer and Kagan and neither one of them rule on a Constitutional Law but rather as an Activist......

Liberals think SCOTUS rules on the merits of a case they do not. The RULE ON WHETHER the case and/or ruling by the lower court is CONSTITUTIONAL or the law or statute.

MIke, I can't think of a single SCOTUS nominee in my lifetime who hasn't been subjected to unfair scrutiny by the other party. Kavanaugh suffered the absolute worst assault on his character and past with little attention paid to his rulings. Jackson is floating in an elevated carpet, but the media hysteria makes it sound like a racial bashing. She'll be a fine left leaning justice. The only thing that bothers me is Biden was specific in picking only a black woman as opposed to the most qualified democratic judge.

Extending the logic of DD, Justices Kava sigh and Roberts are less worthy member of SCOTUS because they come from the affluent suburbs of DC and went to privileged, private high schools and elite colleges. ‘Up by the bootstraps” white guys would be much more worthy.

Lets be blunt: DD likes the image of poor, Black, uneducated families. Black families like the current nominee (educated, successful) don’t comply with his racial stereotypes.

"opposed to the most qualified democratic judge"? She has more judicial experience than four current sitting justices combined. You had your picks, now we have ours. Amy Coney Barrett was the least experienced Supreme Court Nominee in 30 years. She never tried a case to verdict or argued an appeal in any court!

The women was proffered as some historic black women who suffered the pangs of racism to achieve great heights. The first AA women SOCTUS member .
My point is that she’s just like the rest of the privileged member of the court . Both left and Right .
Judge Thomas on the other hand did overcome hardships that all the rest did not .
Why can’t you understand that
He’s the hero , he’s the one who grew up speaking a pidgin English with African words.
So I do applaud both Blacks and Whites who have overcome hardships and succeeded
