This, despite having a QB who has yet to throw an INT while completing 73% of his passes, having Brevin Jordan arguably best TE in the ACC (who I expect to be top-3 round pick in the NFL Draft), a B/B+ level WR Corps, RBs in Cam, DeeJay, and Lorenzo, and facing the likes of 2-2 UNC, an FCS School (Bethune), and a borderline FCS School in CMU...

The offensive line excuse is not good enough to account for this.

I agree with the posters who have correctly noted that pEnos' problem is consistently deploying 12, even 22 personnel groupings, and running slow developing plays in critical down and distances out of them to kill our offensive rhythm. The even more frustrating thing about pEnos' offensive scheming is that he seems to have good scripted formations/play calls earlier in the game, but then fails to make the necessary halftime adjustments to counter the counter. There are times when we get JW in the Gun and let him run more of a true spread looking offense, but then pEnos reverts back to too much of what saw under Richt. Not good!

Against VT, I expect an ugly, low scoring, and close game... Probably still leaning us to win by 1-6 points, but I would not be surprised to see VT come back after that brutal Duke loss and give us everything VT has to give in its current state of desperation with Fuentes on the hot seat.
